Music adventurer Solange Knowles revealed earlier this year that she was starting her very own record label Saint Records. Many fans (including myself) were eager and excited to see which artists and music magic the the eclectic singer would curate when given complete creative freedom. Because if Solange has mastered one thing, its having an ever evolving musical palette on both her solo and featured records – I mean Janelle Monae ft. Solange anyone! Now she is putting on her business hat to unveil Saint Heron, the debut offering from her new venture. The 12 track compilation includes new material from artists handpicked by Solange including Jhene Aiko, Cassie, Sampha, Jade J, Starchild, and many more!

“With Saint Heron I really wanted to celebrate and continue to cultivate the community for genre-defying R&B artists,” said Solange. “I’ve personally connected with all of these extremely talented artists, and am really excited for us to come together through the compilation as a new movement for music.”

Maryland/DC singer, Kelela brings in the lead record, “Go All Night,” which appeared on her Cut 4 Me mixtape as a shorter snippet. The Saint Heron album will also feature tracks from Jhené Aiko, India Shawn, Cassie, BC Kingdom, Iman Omari and more. November 12th cant come any sooner!
