Two of inspirational music’s brightest up and coming talents recently released new music and I must say they’ve left me inspired. DMV native & background vocalist to some of your favorite Gospel artists, James Murphy, put out his latest single, “Follow Thee”, a few weeks ago, and since then it has been getting great reviews, and lots of radio play. “Follow Thee“, a song of gratitude to God for His faithfulness even when we are not faithful, is catchy, nicely arranged, and has some pretty solid vocals from Mr. Murphy. Check out “Follow Thee” & be on the lookout for James Murphy’s highly anticipated album, “So Crazy, No Boundaries” available this Spring!

You probably remember Philly native Angie White, from her days as a lead vocalist with Tye Tribbett & GA, but she has been singing her whole life. From her days at a local church in Camden, NJ, to traveling with the popular Temple University Gospel Choir in Philadelphia, to even lending her vocals to iconic R&B group The Dellfonics, she has worked hard and it is paying off. After winning Radio One’s Best Inspirational Singer in America (see her incredible rendition of “I Won’t Complain”) contest last year, she began working with Award winning songwriter & producer James Fortune on her debut single, “Reliable God”. I’m going to admit that I’m a bit bias, as I personally think Angie has one of the prettiest voices I’ve ever heard, but I don’t think it’s without reason. She has a tone that stands out, vocal stylings that compete with the best of them, and a quiet confidence that exudes whenever she performs. Frankly put, she’s got the goods and it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the world becomes aware of that fact. Check out “Reliable God”!
