SESAC Pop Awards 2014
Since 1930 SESAC has represented performing rights for songwriters, producers, industry executives and artists initially only in Europe but today, internationally. Each year the organization hosts an awards show gala honoring their top performing members in the music industry. Many of the songs we bob our heads to while in commute or in the midst of public places originate with these elite and little-known artists. Of course you have the “breakout” few who gain mainstream notoriety but most of their work enters the realm of a “house-hold name” while their personal profile remains hidden on the sleeves of the albums they help produce.
Last night SESAC thrilled awards attendees with electrifying performances from “American Authors” and “Rico Love”. SESAC also made a mega-announcement introducing their representation of Kurt Cobain’s entire catalog of music!
