Bronx native Tay Bell is a distinguished gentleman with his own unique style and taste. The R&B crooner recognizes beauty when he sees it and isn’t afraid to sing about it in his music. His new song “Olivia Wilde” is a personal homage to the famous American actress who is known for her work on television and in film. Here, Tay Bell explains how the song came about.

“I was in one of those extra creative modes I tend to get in sometimes,” he begins. “I do a lot of reading for inspiration and on this day I was doing a little research on the most beautiful women in entertainment, which of course is all subjective but, Olivia Wilde was number 3 on the list so I just decided to create something that would be a representation of beauty, talent, intelligence and sexy, and put it all together. Her name alone was dope to me, and as a fan of Ms. Wilde it was a good fit.”

Produced by Remo the Hitmaker, “Olivia Wilde” is a club friendly track that has an undeniable feel good vibe. The song has been well received by listeners as far away as Germany and has gotten some airplay on both Hot 97 and Power 105. The record will serve as the lead single to Tay’s forthcoming project which is yet to be titled.

“Right now I’m in the studio finishing up my project as well as creating records for a few artists on the writing side. I’m just trying to put together the best project possible with the support of my team New Wave Music Inc., and show that R&B does live and I’m here to make my mark. The overall plan is to have a breakthrough year in 2015.”
