MOVIE NEWS: CORY HARDRICT & MORE ATTEND PHILLY PREMIERE OF “BROTHERLY LOVE”
Recently the Pearl Theater on Avenue North in Philadelphia, shined with some of the city’s promising stars who came to the exclusive screening of the upcoming film “Brotherly Love”. The film, set in West Philadelphia, centers around basketball star Sergio Taylor, played by newcomer Eric D. Hill Jr., who is dealing with the early pressures of fame. Alongside his older brother June, played by Heed favorite Cory Hardrict, who lost his own hoop dreams to the streets to provide for the family after their father’s death, and sister Jackie, played by another Heed fave KeKe Palmer, whose own musical ambitions are sidetracked by love, Sergio faces life-altering decisions on the streets of Philly.
Everyone from Cory Hardrict to the film’s director Jamal Hill attended the screening, in addition to some of Philly’s upcoming talent including “Brotherly Love” star Eric D. Hill, Jr., MPrynt (headlining the Heed sponsored ‘Yard Status Music Festival’ HBCU College Tour starting this week), rapper Chill Moody, Gogo Morrow, Grammy Winning Producer Carvin Haggins & More!
