Geekswagg LIVE Ep. 35 – Diversify My Wiltz
BJ “Bunneh3000” is joined once again by DesignNews.com’s managing editor Chris Wiltz to discuss Marvel’s All New, All Different universe upcoming, Tauriq Moosa’s Polygon.com article Colorblind On Witcher 3 Rust and gaming’s race problem and more!
The featured gameplay in this episode is from an indie game called Windward. Built in the spirit of Sid Meier’s Pirates, Windward is stripped down seafaring fun-fest. Bunneh3000 discusses the simplicity of how the game plays in this episode. While the game doesn’t quite innovate and stand above the classic game of old, Windward does concentrate on seafaring, trading, ship battles, light multiplayer, and RPG elements to provide an easy to swallow game high with fun factor and low on complexity. While Bunneh3000 was wishing for a bit more land-lover love, what was delivered was superbly crafted and well balanced.
Then after discussing Chris’ continued love of Destiny’s Crucible, the two settle into a deep discussion about diversity in games and in the gaming industry. The discussion is based upon an article by Tauriq Moosa of Polygon.com.
The two then go deep into discussion about Marvel’s “All New, All Different” initiative and how the two are more interested in the DC movie Suicide Squad than Batman v Superman.
Also Bunneh3000 is testing out a new headset with microphone called the V-MODA M-100 Crossfade!
