“A snapshot of modern menswear”

The Spring Summer 2016 collection of the independent fashion trade event, Capsule exhibited designer’s from the United States, United Kingdom, Italy and Sweden.

CMMN SWDN, BAARTMANS AND SIEGEL, MAIDEN NOIR, BLACKFIST, CAMO, MATTHEW MILLER AND SECOND LAYER were the designers that participated at this presentation. CMMN SWDN displayed  versatility in luxury streetwear inspired by subcultural trends related to art and commerce.


BAARTMANS AND SIEGEL captivated spectators with a collection full of stylistic elegance, inspired by a push-pull relationship between grounded realism and optimism. MAIDEN NOIR presented their Spring Summer 2016 collection also entitled, “Remember Remember” which was inspired by memories.



BLACKFIST continued expanding its DIY spirited brand with “Hurts so good”, inspired by the 80’s independent films. Oversized silhouettes, comfortable volume and simplicity lead CAMO’s aesthetic.



MATTHEW MILLER presented a sophisticated and universal look for the futurist with pieces that communicates cultural change. SECOND LAYER used the subcultural movements of California mixed with low-riders, surf and punk trend elements.
