Chicago bred Activist, Pastor and Conscious Rapper, J. Kwest,  uses all 3 platforms to make a difference in the community, and tackle everything from injustice and inequality to lack of hope, withering dreams, poverty and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Now, with the release of his brand new video for his latest single, “Don’t Push Me” he addresses yet another social issue—bullying.

Featuring the Soul Children of Chicago, a 60+ ensemble of city kids led by Dr. Walt Whitman, and produced by Hilton Wright II, J.Kwest has penned an anthem of self-affirmation and SPEAKING UP. As one stat at the end of the video reminds us, 64% of kids that are bullied never speak up, and it’s changing lives.

The Don Baptiste directed video, is honest, educational and should encourage us all to take the issue of bullying very serious.
