Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice
From director Zack Snyder (“Man of Steel”) comes “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” starring Oscar winner Ben Affleck (“Argo”) as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill (“Man of Steel,” “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”) as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters’ first big-screen pairing.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
My initial intrigue with the thought of a Batman V Superman title was the weaving of these two stories into one. The film spent the better part of an hour attempting to do just that. The dialogue was a bit lackluster. We’ll assume it was the director’s intent to make up for that in CG graphics and explosive collateral damage. The masses will most likely ‘eat’ this up wanting more in a slew of follow up sequels to the films’ franchise. I however, was left slightly underwhelmed by this highly anticipated blockbuster.[df_divider el_width=”100″ style=”solid” accent_color=”#FFFFFF” border_t_width=”2px” padding=”20px 0″ position=”align_center” el_class=””]
