Music News: Robert Glasper Experiment – “Black Radio” coming late Feb.

Robert Glasper. Heard of him? If not, don’t worry. You will soon.

Set to release in late February, his fifth studio album entitled Black Radio via Blue Note is set to make some serious waves. Okayplayer has been following this talented jazz keyboardist for quite some time due to his accomplished affiliations. He has played for the likes of Bilal, Mos Def, Q-Tip, Kanye West, Meshell Ndegeocello, J Dilla, Slum Village, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, Common, Terence Blanchard, Roy Hargrove, and Maxwell.

His mixture of jazz, hip hop, R&B, and more weaves quite that soulful mood evidenced by the free track  Move ft. KING which is offered once you sign up for news alerts on his official website. The album has a STUNNING feature list including Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def), Erykah Badu, Lupe Fiasco, Bilal, Lalah Hathaway, Ledisi, Meshell Ndegeocello, and Stokley Williams (Mint Condition).

And if that isn’t enough head on over to our friends at Thisisrealmusic.com for a beautiful track featuring Erykah Badu.

And THEN…. if you still want more to hold you over until the Feb. 28th release date, check out this video with a song that features Musiq!

You can thank me later, Heeders!
